27 April 2007 (Happy Freedom Day, SA!)

I had a very exciting time last night - I learned how to make button holes! Haha yes, laugh all you like, I'm a late developer, I know! I was making a "waistcoat" for a sad cushion & I preferred buttons to poppers (I am talking about sewing accessories here!!!!).

My lovely little oak tree - I've been watching it for weeks to see the first leaves... then all of a sudden the other day it just looked like this!

This cooldrink from Switzerland is called Sanbitter -
& bitter it is! Very weird. P loves it. I love the bottles.This cute but sad looking thing is called Tux (as is every
penguin in our house - and believe me, there are LOTS!)
- a gift to P from his sister. He is a great hit at the front door.
